PROF Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe FAEng, FAS, OFR 

 

The Nigerian Academy of Engineering announces with a very heavy heart, but again, with total submission to the omnipotence of Almighty God, the passing of Prof Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe, Chairman of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering Project team on Ajaokuta Steel Company Ltd. 

  

He died on Sunday, January 3, 2021. 

  

The distinguished professor of Systems Engineering was Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, pioneer Vice Chancellor, Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State. A Fellow and Past President of the Nigerian Academy of Science, as well as a recipient of the distinguished National Honour of Officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR).
