NAEng FELLOWS PAID A COURTESY VISIST TO THE VICE-CHANCELLOR, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS



Fellows of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the University of Lagos yesterday. The two institutions exchanged notes and discussed growing synergies that promote research and stimulants for the economy


Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe and principal officers of the university told the visiting Fellows that the university accommodates eighty five thousand (85,000) undergraduate and post graduate students; it has 12 faculties, and several research centers. The University has received credible financial support from prestigious organizations like the Bank of Finance to promote innovations and provide entrepreneurial foundation for students.

 



The President of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering Engr. Prof. F. Lasisi thanked the University for hosting the Academy's secretariat. He stated that the Academy was present to show gratitude to the university for the provision of the building where its secretariat is located through the help of Engr. Prof. A. F. Ogunye. The Academy is focused on building and maintaining excellence in academia and all sectors of the country through research and innovation.

Both Institutions pledged mutual support.

The Vice President Engr. A. O. Ogedegbe moved a vote of thanks.
